Children’s Ministry

PLEASE NOTE:  Due to COVID19 concerns and restrictions, most of our children's ministry opportunities are currently unavailable.  Once the pandemic restrictions are eased, we will update this page.  But during "normal" times, these are the children's services we offer!

Nursery (Infant-2 years of age)

The nursery is open from the start of service and is located close to the sanctuary, off the fellowship hall. You are welcome to leave your little one with the volunteer or stay and listen to the message from in there.

The children are dismissed to Sunday school immediately following the children’s message in the main service.

Sunday School

Sunday School classes are offered during our worship service, after the Time with Children.  Your preschool or elementary aged child is invited to one of our two classes – Preschool-1st grade and 2nd-5th grade.

Our curriculum is called Dig In (Creating Deeper Bible Experiences for Kids).  More specifically, we are focused on “Digging Into the Life of Jesus.”    Check out this excerpt from their website:

Digging Into the Life of Jesus leads kids in walking in Jesus' footsteps from birth to resurrection to ascension. Kids don’t just learn about the historical Jesus; they get to know him personally. They’ll discover that Jesus is a real person—a real friend—who makes a difference in their lives today.

Summer Beach Days

Summer Beach Days are held weekly during the summer at a local beach, and are a time for fellowship and fun aimed at giving our church family an opportunity to connect during the week.

Vacation Bible School

Every summer in July we invite you to be a part of Vacation Bible School.  We take registrations for kids going into elementary school, while encouraging middle and high school kids to volunteer their time as helpers and group leaders.  It is a great time that you won’t want to miss!

This year VBS will be held July 13th - 17th.  The theme is Rocky Railway - Jesus’ Power Pulls Us Through.  Stay tuned for more information!
