Prayer Ministry 

 

Prayer Ministry consists of 8 volunteers who are trained and available to provide intercessory prayer once a month after worship. They are also available “on call” for special prayer needs for the sick or distressed.

Prayer Shawl Ministry consists of 3 volunteer knitters and crocheters who make shawls to be given to anyone suffering from illness, injury, or loss, or to anyone celebrating a major life event such as the birth of a child. The shawls are covered in prayer during their making and upon gifting to the recipient. They are meant to symbolize comfort and caring, as well as serve as a visible reminder of both Jesus’ and our church’s love for the recipient. They do not have a regular meeting time.
